dr Cecylia Tatoj

Cecylia Tatoj has PhD in Humanities (Linguistics). Her research interests can be divided into: comparison of various semantic fields in Spanish and Polish within the framework of cognitive linguistics, and glottodidactics, the role of intercultural competence in teaching Spanish to Poles in particular. She is the co-editor of seven academic monographs published in Poland and Spain, the author of 30 articles and chapters in monographs and academic journals published in Poland and abroad, materials for teachers, and the report on teaching Spanish in bilingual sections in Poland.

She has organized five international conferences. In cooperation with the Cervantes Institute in Kraków and the Jagiellonian University, she regularly organizes workshops for teachers of Spanish. She is a didactic expert on textbooks for learning Spanish at all levels in the Ministry of Education and Science. In the years 2018-2022 she was the vice-president of the Polish Association of Hispanists.
